The 15 Most Expensive Lego Sets You Can Buy Now
Every set includes the written warranty stating the bricks are “carefully evaluated to guarantee that every structure set satisfies the highest security and quality requirements.” This is how LEGO defends its prices by demonstrating the high quality of its products. There is also the “third party” component; any certified set is subject to an additional “tax” on top of the base fee. A Disney third-party set will cost more than a LEGO first-party set since it has less components. We are paying for brand and name recognition.
A good thing is having happy recollections. And given that most of us can only afford to buy a few of these sizable sets each year, it’s great to know what’s already available and what’s in the works so we can be ready.
Here are the top 15 most expensive LEGO kits available right now, in honour of spirit. Even if you have the money to buy them, be sure you have the space to display them because they are all very large.

Bulldozers with functional designs are nothing to laugh at. And with this creation, a steerable car that can move its blade up and down and trips on treads, LEGO outdid itself. It also looks and feels heavy, which is important for a vehicle with this much power.

Tony Starks’ secret weapon is the “Hulkbuster” competition, which features some of the most well-known mechs in Marvel history. The LEGO Hulkbuster has movable limbs and three light bricks that illuminate the hands’ repulsors and the chest arc reactor.

- Rate: $549.99
Up until very recently, the Colosseum was the largest LEGO set in company history (more on that later). It has a cumbersome structure with many redundant and duplicated elements. The whole effect is magnificent and a beautiful monument to the ambition, size, and extravagance of the Roman Empire. For further information, see our LEGO Colosseum structure function.
11. The Razor Crest
LEGO
LEGO Star Wars: The Razor Crest
With this largest-ever LEGO brick design of The Razor Crest from the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector’s Series, recreate Star Wars: The Mandalorian.
- Set: # 75331

- Piece Count: 6,187
- Measurements: 9 in. (24 cm) high, 28 in. (72 cm) long and 19.5 in. (50 cm) broad

One of the few things that the Star Wars fans as a whole appreciates is the television series about the Mandalorians. Additionally, Mando’s distinctive ship, the Razor Crest, has become easily recognisable. The prequel trilogy’s sleek aesthetic is completely absent from the Razor Crest, which seems almost obstinately anti-flight. This set from the Ultimate Collector Series depicts the awkward design of the Razor Crest and includes a carbonite freezing chamber, an escape pod, and detachable engine obstructs that reveal the ship’s internal workings.

The Colosseum has moved up to second place with 9036 parts, surpassing the Eiffel Tower as the largest LEGO kit ever released with 10,001 pieces. Naturally, the use of arches, support beams, and cross beams reflects that of the actual structure, making it a common construction. Similar to The Colosseum, you’re buying and building this for the finished product, a stunning model of an actual tourist destination that is nearly 5 feet high.
13. LEGO Titanic
LEGO
LEGO Titanic
Develop the ship of dreams with the brand-new LEGO ® Titanic.
- Set: # 10294
- Age Variety: 18+
- Piece Count: 9090
- Measurements: 53 in. (135 cm) long, 17.5 in. (44 cm) high, 6 in. (16 cm) large
- Cost: $679.99
When the LEGO Titanic first came out, we built it, and the designers handled it with the gravity and respect it deserved. The Titanic itself, complete with all of its rigging, was on a stand that was designed to seem like traditional wood. There were no Minifigures present. You can get a wonderful look at the “unsinkable” ship’s cross-section by dividing it into three sections. You can see the dining area, the team rooms, and the boiler space. The piston engines, which pump up and down when the boat’s props are turned, are also visible.
14. AT-AT Walker
LEGO
LEGO Star Wars AT-AT Walker
This enormous Star Wars LEGO kit for adults comes with Star Wars LEGO figures and the first-ever LEGO Star Wars UCS buildable design of an AT-AT walker.
- Set: # 75313
- Age Range: 18+
- Piece Count: 6,785
- Measurements: 24.5 in. (62 cm) high, 27 in. (69 cm) long, 9.5 in. (24 cm) large
- Cost: $849.99
Huge LEGO sets, or designs with enormous lengths and widths that cover a large area, are becoming more and more common. High LEGO sets are significantly less common, and I would assume that making a set vertically rather than horizontally is more challenging. When building something tall, it’s important to make sure the structure can sustain its own weight and maintain equilibrium in addition to having a beautiful appearance.
All three of these items are handled by the LEGO AT-AT Walker, which is especially impressive considering that the original movie prop was cumbersome to begin with. It has nine LEGO Minifigures and is around 2 feet tall. However, if you so choose, the chassis provides room for a 40-man Stormtrooper army.
15. Centuries Falcon
LEGO
Build the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon 75192 with its 7,541 pieces.
Build the largest LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon ever created as you defend the galaxy! The perfect collection for older Star Wars enthusiasts and experienced builders.
- Set: # 75192
- Age Range: 16+
- Piece Count: 7,541
- Measurements: 8″ (21cm) high, 33″ (84cm) long, 23″ (60cm) broad
- Cost: $849.99
It’s difficult to imagine that a LEGO set will ever cost more than this Millennium Falcon from the Ultimate Collector Series. Again, this set is special, and its enduring quality speaks for itself. This particular design was introduced in 2017, which is about 6 years sooner than the age at which LEGO retires its older kits to make room on the shelves for more recent ones.
This shows how innovative this set was when it was first released. This is the conclusive Star Wars spacecraft; it shows how popular it still is. And it has an amazing implication: because the current design is so fantastic, no LEGO designer has bothered to construct a brand-new one, on this scale. This well-known “hunk of scrap” is a fantastic choice if you can only buy one sizable set this year.
