Should You Play the Breath of the Wild DLC Before Tears of the Kingdom?
The DLC for Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda, is a growth pass that requires many DLC packs. Each expansion pack adds to your adventure as Link with new gear, items, and supplementary DLC sidequests. Before plunging into Tears of the Kingdom, you may be debating whether or not to purchase the growth pass.
The Master Trials – DLC Pack 1
Benefits abound in the first piece of downloadable content included in the Breath of the Wild expansion pass. Both “Master Mode” and “Hero’s Path Mode” are available in the Master Trials downloadable content. In Master Mode, the difficulty of fighting may be greatly increased by increasing the difficulty of your opponents. While in Hero’s Path Mode, you can review your travels and find any missed Korok seeds or Shrines.
The Trial of the Sword task, in particular, is what makes this DLC stand out from the others. In this mode, you’ll face off against waves of enemies throughout many stages. It’s the hardest test in the game, with a total of 51 stages, but the reward at the end is the Master Sword’s equivalent in strength.
Also included in this downloadable content pack are eight new pieces of clothing (including Majora’s Mask), the ability to go to locations beyond shrines, and a Korok Mask that trembles if Link is near a Korok seed.
The Champion’s Ballad – DLC Pack 2
The second downloadable content pack emphasises narrative development over new game types. After completing the core goal to free the Divine creatures, you can next embark on a new questline that is exclusive to the Champions Ballad DLC. He must prove his worth by defeating opponents, completing new Shrine assignments, and even taking on a new dungeon after a mysterious voice urges him to connect to fight the Divine Beast Tamer’s Trials. And Kass the bard will keep working to complete the unfinished song.
In addition to the new task, this DLC pack also includes nine new clothing items that may be found in treasure chests all across Hyrule. It also comes with Ancient Horse gear that lets you raise your stock of stimulants and summon your horse from far away.
Where to Buy the Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass
Buying the downloadable content for Breath of the Wild from the Nintendo eShop is the most convenient option. All of the aforementioned downloadable content is included in the growth pass for only $19.99.
