Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice, Charlie XCX, Dua Lipa, and even Ryan Gosling are just some of the big names on the Barbie soundtrack.
Rolling Stone claims that Ryan Gosling’s character, Ken, performs a “huge Eighties-style power ballad” named “I’m Just Ken.” Bruno Mars and Amy Winehouse’s collaborator, Mark Ronson, produced the song.
No money, no job, no car, and no place to call home—Ken has it all. He’s going through some stuff,” the celebrity previously told EW.
We know that Gosling can sing because we saw him perform in Damien Chazelle’s La Land in 2016. We just have a feeling it’s going to be something unintentionally (for the always solemn Ken) humorous.
To tell the truth, I never really got to know Ken on a personal level until now. The actor said earlier this year (via The Hollywood Reporter) that “I didn’t understand Ken from the inside.” “If I’m being completely honest, I doubted my Ken-ergy. Sorry, I missed it. I feel like Margot [Robbie] and Greta [Gerwig] pulled something out of me.
From the looks of the trailer, Ken is completely devoted to Barbie, following her about like a helpless puppy.
Ava Max, Charli XCX, Dominic Fike, Fifty Fifty, Gayle, HAIM, Kali, Karol G, Khalid, Lizzo, PinkPantheress, Tame Impala, and The Kid Laroi are just some of the artists featured on Barbie: The Album. The album is released on the same day as the film’s best.
