Along with Silent Hill: Townfall, Silent Hill F, and Silent Hill Ascension, video games’ worst-kept secret, the Quiet Hill 2 Remake, was recently released. If you’ve been hankering for an upgrade, however, there are rumours that new trailers will be released “relatively soon” for at least some of the projects.
New trailers have been prepared for Silent Hill: Townfall, Ascension, and yes, Silent Hill 2 Remake, according to leaker Dusk Golem, who successfully leaked information about the scary series’ revival prior to the official announcement in 2015. The only thing we do not yet know is when, precisely, they will be unveiled.
Update: According to DuskGolem, r/silenthill will likely release 3 trailers soon.
They stated on The Snitch’s Discord channel, screenshots of which were posted to the Silent Hill subreddit, “I do not understand the specific date for anything,” and included claims that Golem had really seen the trailers firsthand.
But I’ll just say that a brand-new SH2R, Town[fall] & Ascension trailer is finally ready to be unveiled.
While Golem was unsure of the exact date we would see them, they advised that it would be “actually quickly, prior to June” and before the Summer Gaming Fest, which takes place from June 8 to 10.
Additionally, they allegedly confirmed that Townfall “looks extremely fascinating,” Ascension is “graphically terrific,” and the Remake has “excellent art instructions.”
Still no news regarding the mysterious A Short Message, however, appears to have been sufficiently comprehensive to have been ranked in Korea and Taiwan
When asked if they knew if the project had been completely increased, Golem would only reply, “Nah, I don’t know its dead yet.”
What about the other Silent Hill video game, which is also in development but was not included in the aforementioned update? Well, not much else is known about the fate of Quiet Hill f either, but the creator of the upcoming mainline Silent Hill video game is curious as to what you think the odd “f” stands for.
The responses? The answers, which range from the brilliant to the mind-boggling, include suggestions like “strength,” “5”, “flower,” “celebration,” “prohibited,” “worry,” “faith,” “frame,” “piece,” “fungi,” and “intense.” Florida, Fortnite, fajitas, and “finally-a-good-one” are some other less intense reactions.
Designer Bloober Team of the Quiet Hill 2 Remake has Bloober Team, the creators of the Silent Hill 2 Remake, has apparently hinted that Konami is “interested” in working with them once more on future installments of the fan-favorite survival horror franchise.
