Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds’ newest upgrade celebrates its very first anniversary with brand-new Battle Styles and many occasions

In honour of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds’ first anniversary, Netmarble has released a special update. As part of the first-anniversary celebrations, a wide range of in-game activities, game modes, and incentives will be made available to players. There will be up to 400 1st Anniversary Celebration Special Summon Coupons up for grabs, making this event one you won’t want to miss if you’re in the area.

In honour of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds’ first birthday, the game is offering a 1st Anniversary Special Summon, in which players can earn 220 Special Summon Coupons by logging on for a total of 10 consecutive days. A 4-star Rare familiar, weapon, or armour set can all be purchased with them. You can earn the 6-star Modern Classic Car and a Rare Lucky Box by completing these summons and racking up mileage.

There will be a second time to check in after two weeks have passed. In addition to the usual Summon Coupons, players who stop by on the 14th day will receive a Special Title and a 4-star Rare Equipment Selection Chest. These tickets can be redeemed for gold, pods, chests, and more if the numerous freebies weren’t enough for you.

The update also introduces a novel manner of displaying players’ fighting styles, called Battle Style. It gives combatants access to the battlefield and allows classes to customise their weapons to create innovative strategies in battle. These Battle Styles can be changed on the fly, allowing for the creation of unique designs for different types of fights.

The new Artefacts also allow players to enhance their characters’ abilities. Heroes’ improved combat statistics allow them to better employ various Battle Styles. Legendary Ancient Genie, a highly regarded episode from the previous year, is making a comeback this year as a Side Story for players to enjoy.
