New Amnesia: The Bunker Gameplay Video Will Make You Scared Of The Dark
The only thing worse than being trapped in a World War I bunker without access to electricity is being trapped without access to an electrician. The same bunker, only now it’s filled with murderous beasts who want to kill you in the night. What you’ll see in the latest, extended gameplay trailer for Amnesia is just that: The Bunker, as it provides an in-depth look at the game’s colourful and engaging methods of survival. Like using racy language to describe the creatures that lurk in the night.
The semi-open world horror game Amnesia: The Bunker was developed by Frictional Games, the same company responsible for the 2010 classic Amnesia: The Dark Descent and the 2015 release SOMA. With a crafting system and a variety of randomization components for each playing, Frictional Games hopes to increase the replayability of the next installment in the Amnesia series.
“In welcoming this more choice-driven type of development, the experience of playing The Bunker often feels a bit more frantic than Amnesia: The Dark Descent or Amnesia: Rebirth,” wrote Jordan Ramée in GameSpot’s sneak peek of Amnesia: The Bunker. Those who have followed the Amnesia series from the beginning and are looking for a radical departure from the preceding entries will find it in The Bunker.
Release dates for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC versions of Amnesia: The Bunker have been pushed back to May 23. Frictional Games has said that the delay will give them “a little more time to polish the video game and make sure everything is best before launch.”
