The semester at Strange Academy has begun. In August, Marvel will release a new trilogy of connected one-shots that will bring together the students of Dr. Strange’s school of magicians with Miles Morales, Moon Knight, and Spider-Man.
Artists Juann Cabal, Julian Shaw, and Vasco Georgiev provide the series’ artwork alongside Carlos Hernandez’s score.
In Strange Academy #1: Miles Morales, the trainees travel to New York to take on the rival Brooklyn Visions Academy at the Multiversal Math Bowl. Eventually, they will need to team up with former Brooklyn Visions student Miles Morales since a new villain known as The Equation has thrown everything into chaos.

In October’s Strange Academy: Amazing Spider-Man #1, the three featured heroes and the trainees will finally join forces to try to thwart The Equation’s plans.
Skottie Young and Humberto Ramos’ 2020 issue #1 of Strange Academy introduced readers to the institution. After 18 issues, the series was collected as the limited edition collection Strange Academy: Finals, which debuted in 2022.
According to Marvel, Strange Academy has been “a hit with young readers and veteran Marvel Comics fans” and is “a precious brand-new addition to the Marvel Universe overflowing with remarkable brand-new characters and magical folklore.”
On August 2, Marvel Comics will release issue #1 of Unusual Academy: Miles Morales.
