Retail copies of Final Fantasy 16 appear to have actually leaked early, so fans are preparing for full-on spoiler lockdown.
Currently, the extent of the leakages is unknown. A picture of someone clutching a sealed retail copy of Final Fantasy 16 in what appears to be a storage facility is making the rounds. It follows, of course, that whoever took the picture would take it home and start playing the game a full week before it officially releases.
Take note that Final Fantasy XVI’s first copies are already being sold. The spoilers will soon arrive, and as is common with major games, some will attempt to give away deaths and key plot points. Much attention… One week is left, and this is just getting started. pic.twitter.com/vRA9sYPkUnJune 15, 2023

Despite the fact that many people are pointing to 4chan as the image’s source, I have been unable to identify it. Additionally, I have not been able to find any evidence that actual spoilers have started to circulate at this time. Fans are getting ready to avoid social media until any acceptable leaks have had a chance to circulate.
As GundamV31 writes on Reddit, “Time to delete YouTube, that place spoils me more than anywhere else.” “If it’s not the titles, assholes utilise, it’s the thumbnails.” The person in question is not alone.
