The first teaser for Expendables 4 has arrived.
Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone reunite as the bunch of elite mercenaries, and this time they’re joined for the first time by Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy Garcia.
“The Expendables are the world’s last line of defence and the group that gets called when all other alternatives are off the table,” verifies the basic summary. “But new workers with new ideas and approaches will give “new members” an entirely new significance.”
Scott Waugh (Need for Speed) helms a screenplay based on a scenario by Spenser Cohen (Moonfall), Kurt Wimmer (Total Recall), Tad Daggerhart (Red Menace), and Max Adams.
Beginning with 2010’s The Expendables, subsequent installments were released in 2012 and 2014. The Expendables are led by Barney Ross (Stallone), and the team’s previous missions have included overthrowing a Latin American authoritarian, exacting revenge on a rival mercenary, and dealing with a heartless armaments dealership.
Lundgren and Couture joined Statham and Stallone in all three films, and other A-listers including Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, and Harrison Ford have made cameos throughout the series.
