The Last of Us Part II and Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition are two of the best PlayStation-only games available. Spider-Man is a great pick because it includes both Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Spider-Man: Remastered, allowing you to catch up on the complete tale prior to the October release of Spider-Man 2.
Save a few bucks on Nintendo Switch best-sellers like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. If you don’t already have these wildly popular titles in your collection, you should rectify that immediately because they also happen to be some of the best games ever developed.

New first-party Nintendo Switch games with 2023 release dates were announced in a fantastic Nintendo Direct last month. New 2D platformer Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario RPG remake, WarioWare: Move It, Pikmin 4, Pikmin 1+2 physical edition, Detective Pikachu Returns, and Everybody 1-2-Switch are all available for preorder now. For a console in its eighth full year, Nintendo’s first-party lineup is outstanding; I, for one, can’t wait for the trio of Mario games that will round off the year.

I was afraid that the conclusion of Tears of the Kingdom would diminish the attractiveness of video games in general, but I’m finding that its sequel is just as good. I highly recommend Red Dead 2, which keeps the good times going.
