Amazon’s The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power Actor Promises Season 2 Has “So Much More Action”
Even before the cameras started rolling, Amazon’s massive The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power television series was among the most expensive ever made, with the company paying the Tolkien estate $250 million only for the rights to the franchise. According to Amazon, the show focuses on the unknowable happy medium of figures like Galadriel, Durin, Sauron, and Gandalf.
At the conclusion of the previous season, we witnessed the formation of the Last Alliance and Galadriel’s (Morfydd Clark) accidental preservation of Sauron, who had disguised himself as the king of the Southlands. He had secretly infiltrated the High Elves throughout this time, tricking them into producing the first three of those titular characters.
