Even though Netflix has yet to release the pilot episode of its Tomb Raider animation, the streaming service is already working to have the show renewed for a second season.
Ncuti Gatwa, who starred in Sex Education and will play the fifteenth Doctor in Doctor Who, is also expected to join the cast.

According to What’s on Netflix, Gatwa will lend his voice to the series’ newest addition, Eshu. The’more’ section of Gatwa’s Spotlight page, where casting calls are posted, has been updated to reflect this new capability.
Plenty of fresh Tomb Raider-related information emerged recently. We’re still hard at work on the anime, by the way. The wait will be worth it, though, because animation takes time.
This isn’t the only change coming to Tomb Raider.
Amazon has announced that it will be handling and selling the next Tomb Raider game, and the company also has plans to create a television series centred on the adventures of Lara Croft, complete with her trusty pistol and her travels around the world.
It has been reported that Fleabag and Killing Eve creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge will pen the script for the next Tomb Raider TV series. The change does not involve the star.
