Tom Holland Reveals His Favorite Spider-Man Movie … and It’s Not One of His

Holland confirmed to Variety that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is his favourite Spidey film. This was before he saw its sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, so his opinion may change.

The first film in the “Spider-Verse” franchise is “the best Spider-Man film that has ever been made,” according to Tom Holland. “I’m so happy with everyone involved. [Producer] Amy Pascal looks like my mom, and I was supposed to pick her as her date to the premiere of Across the Spider-Verse, but I couldn’t go because I’m here working. I’m thrilled for the second one, and I’m confident that it will live up to every expectation, so I can’t wait to see it.”

Putting the Spider-Man Films in Order

These comments come after Holland asked the producers of the Spider-Verse films to let him, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon switch to animation, and after Pascal approached him about maybe joining the sequel. Holland had not yet received the invitation to return in 2021.

Holland said, “Love them, and I’m just waiting for the phone call.” “Guys, give us a ring; we want to be a part of your film.”

Holland also discussed Spider-Man 4 with Variety, revealing his favourite Spidey film in the process. He admitted that he and the team had been meeting to discuss it, but that they had recently stopped doing so because of the ongoing authors’ strike.

Regarding Spider-Man 4, Holland said, “I can’t discuss that, but I can say that we have actually been having conferences.” We’ve synchronised the conference schedules with the writers so that everything runs well.
